January 2010

Our baby girl is growing up! Here are some things you can find her doing...

-making airplane sounds while waving her arms around in the air

-playing with her dogs... giving them treats and toys

-doing leg lifts, pleays, jumping and dancing to music

-playing songs on the piano while singing "Dadda Dadda Dadda"

-eating chicken nuggets with "dipped" (she must have ranch dip with everything)

-asking to go on a train every day by saying "choo choo choo"

-singing "duh duh Dora" song and the "back pack back pack" song

-feeding her dollies bottles and juice and giving them "shots"

-running, not walking, but RUNNING

-throwing her food on the floor just to make Mommy and Daddy mad:)

-wrestling with Daddy

-going to Nursery at church and playing with all the kids

-being obsessed with lip gloss and chapstick (she must put it on by herself)

-belly laughing with being tickled or when playing with Cynder Dog and Tessy Dog

-singing like "mermaid" when she wants to watch The Little Mermaid

-having "tea" (which is really hospital ice and water) at Gamma and Gampa's house at the special table downstairs with the new tea set and dishes)

-blowing on her food (she doesn't really blow on it, she just puts her face right next to the food and says "shhh shhhh shhh")

-climbing up on the bathroom counter and sitting in the sink to watch Mommy put on her make-up (she also tries to put on make-up and was caught the other day trying to tweeze her hair with the tweezers)

-working Mommy and Daddy's iPhone (She can open up the phone, slide her finger across, and pick which application she wants. She can get into YouTube and iPhoto and also play pretty much any game on our phones.) Smart girl!

-Singing "la la la la"

-asking to watch "Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs" by looking up, opening her mouth and sucking in air, just like they do on the show:)

-dinking around in her crib for an hour before she goes down for a nap (while saying "Dadda dadda dadda" ... as always)

-folding her arms and closing her eyes (on her own) to say a prayer every time we sit down for a meal

-mimicking Dory on "Finding Nemo" when she makes the whale sounds

-playing in her room with Mr. Potato head, stuffed animals and her princesses (she'll spend hours trying to put all the plastic shoes on her princesses)

-getting in the closet to get out Mommy or Daddy's shoes and walking around with them on

-Saying... "Daddy, Tess, Yes, Bye, Juice, Grapes, Baba, Hi, and of course, Dip"

First time sledding up at Olympus! We took the dogs with us and they ran around like crazy.

In the locker room at the Fairmont Aquatic Center getting ready to swim with Ava.

Ava's 2nd Birthday Party! We swam at the Fairmont pool and then had pizza and a yummy princess cake Kristin had made.

Swirling around in the whirl pool! The girlies are wearing matching swimming suits that Gamma Anderson bought for them.

Stuie and the birthday girl.

All the Daddies with their kiddos...

Gampa made a trip out to South Towne mall during Christmas time. He found a large train there that you can ride on all around the mall. So, one afternoon we went out to South Towne and Addison finally got to ride a train! (she has been missing the one at the Zoo) Ever since this afternoon, she asks to go on the train every single day. Whenever I tell her we are going to see Gampa, she'll say "choo choo choo choo". Needless to say, we have been out to South Towne many many times in January. They also have a carousel and a place called "Dino Land" that has slides and fun things for kids to play on. The mall is 20 minutes from our house, but it's worth the drive!

A trip to the Aquarium! This time Addison was afraid of the sting rays and didn't want to touch them! We are very anxiously awaiting the new penguin exhibit.

Sweet girlies in the boat at the aquarium.

After a trip to see the fish, and lunch at Haggerman's Bake House... this baby was wiped out. She fell asleep on the way home. Look at those sweet lips and cheeks.

Classic picture in the train at South Towne. I don't know why I think it's so funny. Addison is totally spaced out and Ava is cross eyed and screaming "Cheeeeese!" Oh we love these silly girls.

Another tip to the mall with Daddy to ride the carousel. Is that all we did this month? Man I can't wait for Spring...

Eating fruit snacks with Dollie in the dog bed. Kinda weird...

"Uncle Guy" (as Ava calls him) is working in downtown New York. We are proud of all he is accomplishing, but honestly we think it's pretty lame without him here with us and we want him to come home soon:)

Silly Girl

How could I not be the happiest Mommy in the world, when I get to spend all my days with the silliest, most joyful little girl? My days are filled with laughter and happiness because of Addi. She LOVES to be silly!

She always wakes up sweet and happy after her naps.

Clint was in the Dominican Republic when Addison got her first tooth! For two weeks I could tell she had not been feeling well, so I stayed home from the trip. I took this picture right after I found her first little snaggle tooth popping out on the bottom!

I bought this for Ad the week Clint was gone. It has been one of her most favorite toys.

See the tiger in her left hand? Gampa gave it to her, and for weeks and weeks, she would not let go of it. She held it while she ate, while she was in the bath, and even while she was asleep! Thanks Oriental Trading, for making a weird plastic finger puppet that my baby was obsessed with!

Caught making a mess!

Snaggle tooth!

One day Addison just started making this face. She does it when she is frustrated or mad, or when she gets hurt. Now she'll do it when she wants to make us laugh.

Happy girl after her nap. Her hair is always so curly and pretty when she wakes up.

Watching the tube with Daddy. Addison's favorites are Dora and Diego!

Always rough housing with Daddy! She loves to be on his shoulders and run around... and loves to be thrown up in the air, much to her Mommy's dislike!

Naked baby in the pool!

Out of all her stuffed animals and dollies, this is what Addison chose to put in her stroller. Beware the YETI! She pushed him around and took care of him all day. Silly baby!

Our little monkey. Always happy in the morning...

We turned our "office" into Addison's "playroom". Slowly but surely, every room in the house is dedicated to Addison and her toys!

Geeze... I sure wish I looked this pretty in the morning!

Every morning when Clint is getting ready for work, Addison will put on his shoes and his belt and walk around the house. Apparently she thinks it's really funny:) She'll also do it with my shoes and hats.

Growing up too fast... already trying on Mommy's bras!

Right after Addison had woken up from her nap, I went in with my camera and told her to smile... this is her "smile". She is saying "cheeeeese!".... Cute girl. Look at those teeth!

Someday Addison will most likely be mad at me for posting these pictures, but they are just too cute! We turned on Chris Brown's "Forever" in her play room full blast. She has honestly loved that song since she was a baby. Here she is in her big-girl Dora panties doing pleays, leg lifts, jumping, dancing, and of course, running around like an idiot with Cynder Dog.

We call her "Ragga Muffin"!

A lot of the pictures we take of Addison turn out to be just a blur, because she is ALWAYS running!

Best picture ever. I still laugh at it every time I see it.

Our little dare devil. She loves the swings... and the higher the better! Thank you Addison, for bringing so much joy into everyone's lives. We love you!
